FAQ
“Please be aware that if I do not have open slots for work, there is a wait list! My schedule availability varies based on NDA work, conventions, and other large commissions I am currently working on. You can submit your request at any time if you have a deadline or Illustration Project that you would like to hire me for outside of the slots. I will respond within a week if I am available to accept your project.”
“What payment methods do you accept?” PayPal is my primary method. I can also send out a Square link for general card payments. “Will I be able to ask for changes to my commission?” Yes. When I start your drawing, I will first do a rough sketch and send a small image for your approval. At that time you will be able to ask for adjustments to the design. After the drawing is complete, it will be more challenging to make changes without needing to redraw or start over, at that time fees may be applied for adjustments. “Do you offer discounts for multiple character?" No, I do not. Six characters take the same amount of time to create, either for one person or for six different clients. “Why is color so expensive?” Color takes longer. Working in color increases the price of the commission, as the time needed to complete the piece beyond the drawing and design phase, also increases. Full color characters without a background take three times as long as the initial drawing, with a detailed background about four times as long. “Can you draw my whole adventure party in a big group shot?” Yes! TTRPG parties start at $1000. I have full reign on composition and design elements to combine the characters. Characters may be partially obscured by other characters, attacking orcs, the BBEG looming above, or hoards of loot; but I will plan out the composition to fit the mood of the scene you describe... whether it be an epic dragon battle, the resurrection of a fallen comrade in a temple, or simple night drinking at a tavern. Contact me to discuss what is possible! “Can you draw/paint an original piece?” Yes! Costs will reflect size and material used for the piece in addition to being a one of a kind piece for a private home. This option is available through discussion. I will only be able to quote after fully understanding the desired piece. There will be additional shipping fees, that vary based on size. An example, a 3ft x 4ft painting can easily cost $400 for shipping. Please be mindful with your inquiry for original commissions. “Can you draw my homebrew creature/ god/ big bad evil guy?” Always! Your ideas can be unique and not fall under any TTRPG umbrella and I will gladly work on them! Especially if it catches my interest. Designing from the beginning is a wonderful challenge and price would fall under similar tier levels of work. The more freedom given to me, the better the image outcome. “Do you draw sexy, nudes, lewds, NSFW characters?” Yes! But I do not draw pornography. Lewds, nudes, and suggested poses of adult characters are fine, just let me know and I can tell you if I feel comfortable completing the piece. “Can you draw our Game Master/Mistress?” I can. But I default DM/GM likeness to a Wizard, Warlock, or Sorcerer with the persons face to represent the DM. I would much rather draw their primary NPC, BBEG, or a god that likes to intervene with the party. “Can you draw my game supplement Book Cover?” Yes I can! Book cover art falls under the illustration category and start at $899 USD. Book jackets and additional formatted type type placement will be more. Book covers have added royalties or commercial prices, this varies depending on if it is used for commercial distribution or if it is a self published project for sites like DMsGuild or RPGDriveThru. |
